The First Step

We take time to understand the individuals involved in the business.  We make sure we understand the personal objectives of the business owner and the team.

If the individuals do not have established goals and objectives we assist them to design the life they want so that we can develop a business that will help them achieve their personal goals.

The Second Step We review or help you Define your Mission and Vision.

It is essential that the business has a well defined Mission and Vision because these focus the business.

The Mission and Vision must be easy to communicate to all involved and we work with you to build a great understanding of it with the entire team.

The Vision and Mission must not conflict with your personal mission and vision and we work with you to identify any potential problems and resolve these.

The Third Step Now its time to identify where your business is at present and we employ several tools and techniques to help you paint a picture of your current position.
The Fourth Step

We now teach you how to identify all your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats using SWOT analysis tools.

With these identified we can now see how to apply your strengths to your identified opportunities, that are inline with the Mission and Vision, and help you evaluate strategies to benefit from them.

We can also now help evaluate which weaknesses and threats are going to cause critical or serious problems to your activities.  Once identified we'll help you develop strategies to diminish any negative outcomes.

The Fifth Step

Action plans are what make things happen.

We are now in a position to assist you to prepare the action plans to take you from where you are to where you want to be.

We'll help you develop and document your systems, processes and procedures (SPP) to ensure the plans have appropriate support.

With SPP you really do have a business and not just a job.  It is SPP that gives you a business because with them in place you don't have to be there - think about what made McDonalds so successful - The burgers or the systems?

The Sixth Step

Implement the action plans and monitor the results ensuring you are heading in the right direction.

This is where you start to see your hard work paying off as dreams converted to plans now become reality.

We help you develop measurement systems so that you can more easily evaluate how effectively and efficiently your business is travelling to your chosen destination.  This is the area of continuous improvement or, (to use a term becoming popular now amongst consultants and writers), Kaizen approaches are used to great effect.

The Seventh Step

This is "pay dirt" time.  If your strategies were right and you read the market correctly it is time to "reap your rewards".

By now you will have seen your initial objectives completed and you will more confidently move on to bigger and better projects and goals.
You will already have revisited steps  three onwards by now - you'll be part of a growing business that's under control and not controlling you.
